It's been a while...

Holy crap... I was missing this.

Been way too long, but finally the "curse" is broken: flying to the other side of the world, check!

I was missing the heat, the humidity, the lush green everywhere, the different landscapes, the different way of life, the discovery of all the things you see on web pages but that you finally get to witness first hand. And so far, expectations are surely being met! Even when the first destination is kind of the opposite of what I usually look for when I travel.

In Singapore, I've traded the nature for the skyscrapers and the crazy architecture. Fortunately, one of of country's main attractions also involves a ton of nature: luxurious gardens that create a perfect blend between man art and mother nature's art.

Gardens by the bay are probably the country's gem, but there's so much more to see. We even found portuguese expats while roaming around, that talked a bit about living in the country and desmistified some of the rules that the country has... but end up not being that strict after all. It's always good to have a local's opinion, right?

Traditional neighbourhoods, random beautiful orchid gardens discovered where they weren't expected, it seemed there was always something else waiting to be discovered. And yet, this was just a brief layover before my main destination, the one I'm currently enjoying.

Nevertheless, these first couple days were a blessing. Such a different reality, either from home and where I currently stand, where the Internet is mostly crap, such as only now was I able to upload some photos.

Thruth be told, tough, there's hasn't been toonmuch time or will to post: so many things to see and do! And since I want to enjoy travelling as much as I can, I'll likely leave the deserved posts for later. For now... celebrating life! :)
