How does it work??

on hive, your VP stops regenerating when it hits 100%. This system waits till your voting power is about to go to waste, then votes other members of the group to prevent that waste.

how is this determined

it prevents abuse by tracking who votes and whos received votes, if you post every so often you should be able to get what you can get from it. when youre behind, you will get more votes, when youre overpaid, it will spread to other users a bit first, when youre behind, you will get more votes, when youre overpaid, it will spread to other users a bit first so all you have to do to catch up with votes is keep posting.

as your account grows, so will the votes you receive

How do I join?

swarm-of-minnows uses ordinary hive authentication mechanisms, the trigger pages that calls the authentication mechanisms are opensourced and easy to inspect, you are free to leave at any time, if you have any problems we also have a very active community that have always provent to be helpful

Alternatively, you can also use your own tools or wallet to delegate voting access to the @minnowschool account, the system will likewise detect it automatically.
