    The Overhaul Effect on Splinterlands

    image.png

I was taken aback by the game's modifications since the recent update to Splinterlands removed the option to stay in Bronze or Silver gaming. Now, every player has the opportunity to improve his league. Unfavorable for those who enjoy taking silver and bronze in the game. This has a significant impact, particularly on modern players and wild bots.

This is an example of one of my summoners from the revamp update. As you can see, I have level 6 summoner Kelya Frendul in bronze level. I was surprised that my high-level cards can be used in lesser leagues like bronze, as I had assumed I could only summon level 1 cards in this type of league. It was unexpected and hard for me to believe, so I kept reading the latest updates and asking other players and my guildmates about what was happening with the new ranked match following the game's improvement.

Although it is obvious that I am winning this battle, I still want to show off how I handle people who have neither beginning cards nor level 1 cards. It feels as though you are the giant and your opponent is the dwarf. The reward pool is still in the adjustment period. Every victory is worth 20 points. It is now up to you to choose which league to play in, but once you enter the gold, diamond, or champion division, there is no going back to the bronze or silver division.

On the other hand, my opponent can only resort to employing level 1 cards, and the summoner he employs is also level 1. He lacks high-level cards that are incapable of fighting effectively to my Kelya Frendul Summoner level 6. When facing off against opponents from the Bronze League is like just a mismatch battle. For example, my Baakjira's healing abilities proved to be extremely effective. In some ways, this card that had tank healing ability is a level 3 card and fits on the diamond to gold league matches, it's more like you're challenging a novice against a player with years of expertise.

In this scenario, novices could believe that strong players would make more money since they can play cards at maximum level against newcomers who can only afford to rent cards. In the current system, novice players will be ousted if they do not have high-level cards on their deck. The bronze to Silver league rating is difficult to surpass because of this overhaul. the highest-level cards you have will be one the advantage ahead against low-level card users. in some cases in point, if a pro player with a significant number of high-level cards on their accounts will become a dominant player in a lower league. with the emphasis on high-level cards, it will be difficult for the New Players to compete and move up the ranked ladder.
I just hope that there will be another update after the overhaul to make the game more competitive and enjoyable so that the newcomers will find it more exciting as well as provide positive feedback. If we could get a lot of new players enjoying the game, then demand for tokens and cards would increase, but if we lose more players, then there would be less demand and the value of the cards would decrease because there is a lot of supply in the market and there isn't any demand. One of the strategies that Splinterlands intended to use was burning. I'm not sure if I should burn my cards during the next burning event because assets NFT's cards are quite significant for me in my humble opinion.

    Gladius Case Opening

I recorded my Gladius Case Opening to lighten the atmosphere and spread positive thoughts. At the time, I was simply relaxing and had no idea that a significant event would occur. I merely patiently waiting for my ten Gladious packs to be completed on my inventory before I crack open.

I just assumed it would be a typical day when I opened my packs, but as I looked at every card, I saw that I was about to uncover one legendary. I stand by and open each of my cards one at a time, glancing at the legendary card. Then, as I gently moved my mouse over the card and clicked, it began to shake uncontrollably. Suddenly, the renowned Tatiana Blayde card appeared, its gold foil shining directly in front of my eyes. I screamed at my computer, ecstatic to have this.
