    gm Splinterlands

I'm cryptoeater, a Splinterlands OG since May 2018 and I have teamed up with @bamlolx and @endecs to create tooling and safeguards available for all Splinterlands validators, along with my own personal validator node.

    Notable Experiences

    • Splinterlands DAO treasurer, trusted to execute the purchase of Hive proposal, worth roughly $300k
    • Splinterlands OG since May 2018
    • Advisor since ~2019 to present (unpaid) - including catching an early "infinite money glitch" involving the initial introduction of credits, which could have drained the entire Splinterlands team's DEC balance if exploited
    • Briefly on the team (unpaid) in 2024 mainly helping with the numbers/math side of lands 1.5 and future expansions. Although I have become too busy for it at the moment, I plan to return to help wherever I can once time permits
    • Run the not for profit Aqualis Market, which has given back millions of DECs to players, burned over 465k DECs and 14700 BCX worth of Chaos Legion cards equating to over 118 max level cards!
    • Large Splinterlands investor with many packs, cards, lands, SPS and positions in LPs
    • Multiple passed proposals that have helped shape the game, including setting up the v3 DAO's LP positions, adjusting marketplace fees and more
    • Helped organize a Chaos Legion and SPLTD bulk buy, trusted to handle over $500k USD across two deals

    Node Specs

Ran by @bamlolx on a separate machine to his own, to ensure diversification of validators to spread out risk:
    vcpu: 4 (AMD EPYC 7002)
    RAM: 8GB
    160GB NVME SSD
    api: https://cryptoeatersps.com/api/status

Although these server specs are on the lower end, it runs extremely smooth for the current requirements and if it comes even close to needing an upgrade, @bamlolx will monitor and instantly upgrade as required.

We are currently exploring the technicalities behind running a back up server. If it is technically possible, we will do it.

We are running a full node which means data is stored, allowing for quick restoration in the event of an emergency or rollback.

If you have a spare vote

Please consider voting for @bamlolx and @endecs as they have been supporting the game behind the scenes for many years now, including offerings tools and services, reporting exploits to Hardpoint and running a Hive Engine node. They are currently actively helping anyone set up their own SPS validator node.
