How can you make the most out of Uriel the Purifier's abilities? Which rule sets gave him the best advantages in battle? Can you take advantage of both his weakness and strengths?
Uriel the Purifier looks tricky at first but easy to use. He likes to play both long games and quick battles at the same time. He takes his time to charge for that one shot that will kill your enemies when they don't have a proper counter to it and as he charges, he Heals himself making sure he can last enough until he does that devastating attack. With Uriel the Purifier's attacks that can kill units with 10 health in one blow, your enemies have only two choices when Uriel the Purifier is attacking. They can either dodge... or die.

Let's talk about… Uriel the Purifier

Uriel was amongst the many Pelacor that fled Solaki and its military regime when he was young. He found himself in Khymeria, like so many of his brothers and sisters, but even though they practised with life magic it just didn't feel quite pure enough for him and so he travelled to different Worlds, seeking somewhere he could find that elusive clarity of virtue.
On the bright World of Régalien he won his armour in brutal combat, gold and silver plates forged together with the strongest metals known and lacquered in the translucent blood of a diamond giant. An armour that could not only heal him, but would smite his foes should he ever fall in battle. Still, it was not enough.

Buy and Rent:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
For a max level Uriel the Purifier, $9.50 is a good price. He is really strong regardless of rule sets and even on those where he is on a disadvantage, you can still use him because of his high stats.
I usuall rent Uriel the Purifier, if possible. He is good in a lot of situations especially if you have the mana to use. Uriel the Purifier is also not strict with the summoner and you can use him whether he can benefit from the summoner or not. At 18.99 DEC per day, he's surely a catch and you should use him before the next set comes in.

Rule Sets:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Use it in... |
![]() Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. One of Uriel's weakness is magic attack due to its reliable attack. Weak Magic gives Uriel more protection against magic attack as he charges his attack and take them out one by one. |
![]() All melee units have Sneak (targets the enemy unit in the last position). Super Sneak Rule Set allows Uriel the Purifier to attack on a safer position allowing him to deal more damage over time. This is a very useful rule set if you have Eternal Tofu as your summoner so you can stack up health on Scavenger and put them on Uriel the Purifier for stronger Heals as you watch your melee enemies die from Thorns. |
![]() Non-flying Units take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round. Flying ability is a direct counter to Earthquake rule set. This allows your unit to not take damage from Earthquake each round. It sounds not as strong but if you're looking for long battles, every damage you avoid can help you win your games. |
Avoid using it in... |
![]() All healing abilities are removed from Units and Summoners. Heal is a huge part of Uriel the Purifier and what makes him viable as a tank. Removing Heal makes him weaker and bad as a tank, more so in longer fights. |
![]() You can only summon armored units. Uriel faces a disadvantage because in this rule set, both you and your enemy can only use units that have armor. His high damage will fall flat against the enemy’s armor which makes him less effective. |
![]() Units lose all abilities. Uriel the Purifier has one of the best ability sets in the game and removing these makes him a lot less powerful. His raw stats alone can’t carry him without those abilities. |

Battle Strat: My strat for this battle is to use units with Flying ability as much as possible to avoid the damage from that Earthquake rule set. Uriel the Purifier works really good in this rule set because of his Flying ability and as a solid tank.
Battle Summary: My enemy this battle seemed to have a different idea thinking this would be a really fast battle. He used high damage units instead of using the rule sets to his advantage thinking he can win early before dying from Earthquake. With Uriel the Purifier not being affected by his two units with Void abilities, he made a huge mistake to his strategy giving me an easy win.
