Greeting to all of you who make life in this beautiful sewing community, I sew almost every day, but when I do it, I try to do my best in terms of sewing, so that they can be with good finish and neatness, in every stitch I make. And for this occasion I show you how I made a dress for girls in printed fabric, with white background and red flowers, very nice fabric and a simple but beautiful design, because only the floral calls attention and especially when it is a girl's clothes it looks very nice.
Days ago I had told you that I have been making several garments especially for girls. Since those spoiled grandmothers are always looking for something to make with those clothes they no longer use, or with scraps of fabrics they have at home.
At least this dress was made from a blouse that they no longer used, and it was very well for this dress, which I made as a reference of another one, open in the front with its buttons.
Espero hayan disfrutando de un fin de semana en armonía, y en esta semana nueva llena de bendiciones.
Saludando a todos los hacen vida en esta bella comunidad de costura, cosiendo casi todos los días, pero cuando lo hago, trato de hacer lo mejor posible en cuanto a las costuras, para que puedan quedar con buen acabo y pulcritud, en cada puntada que hago. Y para esta ocasión les muestro como hice un vestido para niñas en tela estampada, de fondo blanco y flores rojas, muy linda la tela y un diseño sencillo pero bonito, ya que solamente el floreado llama la atención y sobre todo cuando es ropa de niña queda muy linda.
Hace dias le había comentado que he estado haciendo varias prendas de vestir sobre todo para niñas. Ya que esas abuelas consentidas, buscan siempre que mandar hacerle con esas prendas de vestir que ya no usan, o con retazos de telas que tienen en casa.
Por lo menos este vestido fue hecho de una blusa que ya no usaron más, y quedó muy bien para este vestido, el cual hice de referencia de otro, abierto en la parte delantera con sus botones.

With other strips I make the ruffles for the sleeves and their straps, also a longer strip where the buttons and buttonholes will be placed.
Empiezo descosiendo toda la blusa, para que se me haga más fácil hace los cortes necesarios de las piezas, lo primero que hago es la falda tomando en cuenta todo el ancho de la blusa dejándola de largo de unos 30cm.
Luego con la otra parte costé dos piezas para la blusa de la parte delantera y una para la parte de la espalda.
Con otras tiras le hago el volantes de las mangas y sus tirantes, también una tira más larga donde se colocara los botones y hojales.
To assemble the blouse I first make the sleeves, sewing with the hemming foot of the machine its edge and I place this strip a little crumpled on the shoulder straps, and then I sew it to the blouse.
Para ir armando la blusa hago primero las mangas, cosiendo con el pie de dobladillo de la máquina su orilla y esta tira un poco arruchada la coloco en los tirantes, para luego coserla a la blusa.
For the skirt I made a loose seam and then tucked to the width of the waist, this waist is loose, not tight.
And I'm going to join and sew with the blouse ready.
Having these parts already joined, I place the straps and I make its buttonholes, which were six, and I glue the buttons, also its hem ready with its straight seam.
Para la falda le hice una costura floja para luego arruchar hasta la medida del ancho de la cintura, esta cintura es holgada, no ajustada.
Y voy a unir y a coser con la blusa lista.
Tenido estas partes ya unidas le coloco las tiras y le hago sus hojales que fueron seis y le pego los botones, también su ruedo listo con su costura recta.
This dress is ready to be used for the first time, it is very comfortable and for a very casual occasion, to go for a walk or a party too, it is a very soft fabric like silk, but its print and color make it look very nice, the girl was very happy with her new dress said her grandmother, who told me that she will continue looking for more clothes to renew and transform.
Este vestido ya esta listo para estrenarlo, es muy cómodo y para una ocasión muy casual, para ir de paseo o una fiesta también, es una tela muy suave como de seda, pero su estampado y color lo hacen ver muy bonito, la niña estaba muy feliz con su nuevo vestido dijo su abuelita, que me comenta que seguirá buscando más ropa para renovar y transformar.
