Lady Liberty….

    Afternoon everyone ….

I was back at my hunting the auction sites several days ago. It’s been horrible weather here pretty much all week now. Five of the last six days have had rain. The day that it didn’t rain was extremely cold and very windy.

Making completing jobs very difficult for me. I got lucky the other day and got a small window of no rain, to bring the stuff I needed from my shop to the job site. With any luck I’ll have the job completed tomorrow.

The countdown to Vegas is now ticking very quickly….

    As I digress….

I’ve had nothing but complications trying to obtain the building permits for my shop construction. The town is really giving me a hard time requiring additional stuff the state doesn’t. When I reached out to the state earlier this week. They basically told me that the state doesn’t require what they are asking for, but local municipalities can.

    Gee thanks…..

So when I not trying to get jobs done, and dealing with lawyers, engineers and surveyors. I try to relax and do mindless things that take my mind off the stress.

Here is a silver round that I won on auction the other day. It got here really quick which is unusual, but I’m not complaining.

The round is really in great shape and is unique. The only issue that I am having is that I can’t find any information on it. It was listed as a Liberty Mint round, but I am certain that it is not from them.

The round is a “The Lights of Liberty” round. It was produced on July 4,1986 which is the 100 year anniversary of our Declaration of Independence. It’s a well done round.

    Snd here it is…..
