What Are EDSI Tokens?
Eddie Earner Income (EDSI) tokens are income-generating tokens on the HIVE blockchain that pay weekly dividends every Monday. These dividends come from 12% of the total HIVE POWER balance held by the @eddie-earner account, providing token holders with an impressive annual percentage yield (APY) of over 22%.
Token Supply and Mining
EDSI has a hard cap of 500,000 tokens, with an initial public sale of 20,000 tokens priced at 1 HIVE each. New EDSI tokens can be minted in two ways:
- Staking EDS Miners (EDSM) or EDS Mini Miners (EDSMM).
- Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote.
- EDSM miners yield approximately 20% annually.
- EDS-vote provides returns of about 4-5% per year.

- Buy EDSM miners to mint EDSI tokens automatically.

- Alternatively, purchase EDSI directly from the market. Place a buy order at 1 HIVE per token and wait for it to be filled—miners often sell their rewards to secure profits.

This Weeks EDSI Report
EDSI mintage this week was 496.48 bringing the total in circulation up to 80,116. We've been minting around 600-650 EDSI a week for the past 6-9 months but our new normal now will be closer to 500 each week. This is simply because the eds-vote had a 100k delegation withdrawn. Mintage now is roughly 300 per week from EDS miners, 200 from eds-vote and 20ish from EDSD.
This week there were 685.43 HIVE powered to the account. We can expect a decline in income from eds-vote which has gone from earning around 600 HP per week down to 400 HP per week. This will result in less HIVE being powered up but the next 15-18 weeks, we can continue to powerdown 600 HIVE per week from past curation rewards.
The total HIVE POWER balance this week is 137,063.81. Will it be long until our HP balance is worth 6 figures!
The EDSI HIVE income pool increased by 1.34 to 315.22 HIVE. You can see in the chart on the left that the income pool was around 100 HIVE only 3 years ago and it's more than triple that today.
Pretty week, the EDSI APY declined by only 0.04% which is almost nothing. This resulted from minting fewer EDSI tokens from eds-vote while still receiving the same powerdown. This small decline in APY will last 15-18 weeks and things will become more normal. You can see that the APY gone flat the past 3 week which is amazing.

Weekly Roundup
Pretty good week, everything is working as should be and no mess up. It'll be nice for the next few months with the reduced EDSI APY decline and holding over 20% is a nice number.
Going around, remember that EDSI is a 100% HIVE project so there is no worry about diluted rewards from EDSI when HIVE moons.
