There were a couple of really good Commodore 64 magazines in the U.S. but none that were dedicated exclusively to gaming. By 1991, RUN was the last major Commodore 64 print magazine being published in the U.S. and there was no issue published in June. Game publication in the U.S. on the Commodore 64 and pretty much stopped in the U.S. by this point. If you were lucky, you might still find a game or two on clearance at some place like Toys R Us. On the other hand, things were still going pretty strong in the U.K. and would continue to do so for another couple of years. The June 1991 issue of Zzap! 64 includes:
Rebel Regulars
- Stuff - Coverage of the European Computer Trade Show including a look of some forthcoming arcade conversions and other games for the Commodore 64 including Atari's Hydra, RBI, Terminator 2, Solar Jetman and more. Incidentally, Solar Jetman was completed but never released on the Commodore 64 but was apparently rediscovered and is available on the interwebs. I'll have to track this down and try it. I loved it on the NES.
- Megatape Info - The cover tape this month includes Iridis alpha, level one of Spellcast, Shotaway, and more.
- Rrap - Letters from readers about Megatape issues, reset buttons, adventure games, Turrican 2, football, cartridge games, and much more.
- Pig in a Poke - Hints and hacks for various games including CJ's Elephant Antics, Badlands, Shadow Dancer (includes a map), Chip's Challenge, Turrican 2, Super Monaco GP, Moonshadow (more maps), Navy Seals (maps again), 4th Dimension, and more.
- Budget Blitz - Brief reviews of budget games including 4 Most Sport, Batman: The Movie, Passing Shot, Great Gurianos, Dragon Ninja, Xybots, License to Kill, 4 Most Action, Revenge of Doh (Arkanoid II), Gryzor, and World Games.

- The Inter-Magazine Challenge - A game competition between editors of Zzap! and Crash.
- The Complete Index, Part 3 - The third part of an index of game reviews in Zzap! from 1985 to 1990.
- Turbocharging! - A preview of Turbo Charge, a racing game based on the race section of Vendetta.
- The Readers' Awards - The Zzap! 1991 annual Readers' Awards. There are several categories but winning game of the year was Creatures with Turrican II coming in second and Golden Axe third.

- The Ultimate Comp! - A competition in which Commodore 64 disk drives, copies of Ultima IV and t-shirts are up for grabs.

- Atomino - A puzzle game from Psygnosis.
- Cricket Captain - A strategy/management game for the sport.
- Elvira - Mistress of the Dark - An Elvira themed adventure game.
- Gauntlet III: The Final Quest - The latest game in the Gauntlet series gets a good review here.
- I Play: 3D Soccer - A 3rd person 3D soccer game somewhat similar to International Soccer Challenge.
- Lupo Alberto - An action/platform game that is sort of a combination of Super Mario Bros. and Rainbow Islands but not as good as either.
- Moonshadow - An action game that reminds me a bit of Altered Beast or Ghosts & Goblins.
- North and South - A Civil War themed strategy game.
- Predator 2 - An action game based on the movie of the same name.
- Spikey in Transylvania - A puzzle/action/adventure game compared to the Dizzy games but in 3D.
- Supremacy - A sci-fi themed strategy game.
- Viz - An action game with adult humor.
