Polyverse is a upcoming browser based web3 game that is still in alpha but will be releasing here in 2025 and I truly hope it will make a massive splash when it goes live.

I am not going to get into the teeny tiny details of the game but more so a brief overview. Polyverse at it's core is an endless wave battle game. But before we get into the gameplay itself let's talk about Polyverse as a whole.

In Q2 2024 there was the Genesis drop where the Polyverse team listed the 888 Genesis Character NFT's for sale on Ethereum. They were each 0.04 ETH initially. They all sold out but I was able to get 1 for myself.
This is mine and I love him dearly.

There are 5 races of playable characters: Aliens, Apes, Cyborgs, Mutants or Humans. Each race has their own stat boosts so buying a race that fits your playstyle is important.

Blockchain Backend

The game's Character NFT's are on the Ethereum blockchain. You will be able to stake these to the game and then play with your character and level him (or her) up and you progress.

The game itself though runs on the WAX blockchain. So you will need a WAX wallet as well to play the game. The reason for this is because well WAX transactions are free (after you stake some WAX that you can unstake at anytime and get back). WAX is one of the best blockchains for games and NFT's so it makes sense.

There is a game token called $PATIC as well. This will be the main currency in game.

The dev's have already stated that the $PATIC token will be on Ethereum and Wax. There will be a bridge open so you can withdraw your $PATIC to ETH and sell it or even WAX and sell it. This is going to be amazing! You will be able to buy in game items on WAX with WAX and send into the game.

$PATIC will airdropped to early backers and stakers here in the next month or two.

You do NOT need to buy a 0.04 ETH Character to play the game when it goes live. You will be able to stake 10,000 $PATIC and you will have a 'Survivor' Character in game that you can play with and level up like everyone else. If that person wants to own that 'Survivor' Character NFT they can withdraw it to their wallet and that 10,000 $PATIC will be sent to the company treasury.

Why should I join now and not wait?

While technically the game is still in Alpha, the Beta is fast approaching. After the $PATIC token launches, a 6 week beta will kickoff. Only people who have a Genesis NFT will be able to participate. And let's just say this beta is also called "Play 2 Airdrop" so you can except some nice rewards for those who participate.

Genesis NFT's are only going to increase in price after the game officially launches and people truly understand what advantages having a Genesis/OG character gives you. So getting one now while they are still cheap makes sense to me. You get free $PATIC when it launches for having a Genesis NFT staked so really you are winning on so many levels.

But you could wait and see and then be left in the dust by me :)

What is the actual game though?

Your character wakes up on a broken down spaceship of sorts.

You come to and you traverse this spaceship and find various things you can do on it.

But then you stumble upon the Battle Pit (my own terminology). When you take the elevator to it you are bombarded with wave after wave of enemies.

If you survive long enough you earn rewards. They could be blueprints to new weapons or other in game items that you can use to upgrade your guns and such. There is a lot you can do and it will only get better and better!

Just so you know. You gain discord levels as you talk and chat in their server. The higher your level the more $PATIC you get airdropped to you as well. So it makes sense to at least come check it out and say hi and hang out with us as we patiently wait for the Beta to start and $PATIC to launch.
