"Beautiful Words"

A thin cloud of dust has enveloped my skin
It has no smell or weight for me to sense
The uncontrollable urge to utter words comes freely from within
These are the moments that I regret however I look at it

Our words mean nothing until it hurts somebody
It's as sharp as a sword when it is said with malice
I'm clueless about its strength and what it can do to others
Relieving someone's dignity could mean the end of a relationship

The times that made me regret the words I say is when I'm honest
We can never be straightforward about everything
We are meant to talk but we don't have to utter it all
To use once it is a must whenever you wish to say the words

Take each moment as a unique gem to carve
Each piece requires a different way of putting the sides together
I'm a mindless sculptor who doesn't think about every side of it
A word that is carefully carved is a thing as beautiful as a gem.
