“Undying Hope”

We may never see the sunshine again in this wilderness
It’s a forgotten place that nobody wants to visit
There are plenty of low-lying fruits but all it has are toxins
It’s not a place where I can build a home no matter how good it is

We all have a special place in mind that we dream of
The conditions may not be perfect but it is perfect in our eyes
Lend me your ear and I will tell you every memory that I held as treasure
The times will keep moving but the memories will never fade away

We are entitled to choose the destiny that we will have in this journey
It seem like everything is laid out in front us yet we still have the choice
Life is an open book and we have the pen that we will use to write our story
The choices we make will become part of our destiny

There’s life beyond the arid places where we chose to step on
Even in the darkest of places we will feel the warmth
There will be light that we will share with one another
And hope will forever be engraved into our mind and our soul…
