Root Management with PixelUpdater for Pixel

Stumbled upon this app today just as I was getting ready to install the May OTA for my Pixel.

This will grab the OTA ahead of your position in the progressive rollout direct from Google's servers, install it and patch it with Magisk. Magisk does have a mechanism to do that this itself but it doesn't work properly on Pixel 6 series and newer currently as they do an extra verification check that most other devices don't do and so far nobody has patched in the necessary changes to the project to spoof that.
This app does handle that however and quite nicely. Makes installing OTAs a lot easier on a rooted Pixel. Doing it by hand isn't too bad but you have to flash the OTA from recovery, then flash the patched boot image. OBut unfortunately It stopped detecting root after I installed the next monthly OTA. I've been having off and on issues with RCS on Google Fi (among other various issues) that seem to stop acting up after installing an update to a spoofing module in Magisk.
So I'm probably going to make a backup of my phone tonight and relock to bootloader to see if it helps with the problems I've been having. terracore

At this point root to me is more like a nice to have than a need anyway.
