#942 - More Marikina Market day Shots for Friday.

Warm greetings to us all Hiveans worldwide this Friday. May this day bring serenity, joy and productivity. As the week unwinds let's take a moment to appreciate the little things and connect with fellow community members. Wishing you all a peaceful and uplifting Friday that's filled with positivity and excitement for the weekend ahead.

Now for today's shots it was a typical market day when we visited the Marikina public market filled with the sights, sounds and stinky smells of a bustling hub of activity. As we walk about through the crowded alleys, we were greeted by the vibrant colors of fresh produce and the aroma of freshly cooked food from cariderias. We went here to purchase the items on my mother-in-law's list.

We began by visiting the vegetable section where we carefully selected an assortment of fresh greens crisp leafy vegetables and juicy tomatoes. The vendors were friendly and accommodating. Next, we went to the meat section where we purchased a whole chicken and a pork hind leg and both of which looked incredibly fresh for the day and of high quality.

As we continued our shopping, we stopped by the fruit stand and picked up a few bunches of bananas which were perfectly ripe, we got us some latundans. We also bought some white corn. The market was busy with people of all walks of life hurrying to and from each with their own list of items to purchase. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was lively with a sense of community.

The Marikina public market had once again proven itself to be a reliable and enjoyable destination for our shopping needs and we looked forward to returning here again for our daily needs. Me and the wife made our way home via a jeepney right at the opposite side of the road.
