I Amazed My Own Self Here

These next few pictures are from a recent maternity photoshoot featuring a dress from my client closet! I normally do not do "lifestyle" but... this beautiful model is my daughter in law and she is carrying my grandchild so it was game on to make this an amazing moment for her.

The location of this photoshoot is my favorite stomping ground for photos. It's a beautiful state park with a lake, a stream, and many Cypress trees.

I love how the light shines through. This shoot also has an amazing weather story behind it as well. It was like the universe was telling us we needed to do it!

All day, it was heavy raining and I wasn't sure we were going to be able to make this happen. We arrive and a quick shower happened causing us to take cover for a few minutes under a pavillion. Then all of a sudden the rain stopped and the sun came out.

The weather held out just around this park long enough for us to finish. As soon as we left the sky became super dark with storm clouds. I made it a mere 3 miles up the road and we ended up with a hail storm. Yes a HAIL storm. It was pretty wild.

Motherhood is such a beautiful thing and I am honored I was able to capture her beauty in the final weeks of her pregnancy!
