You can see here pictures of different medicinal plants and I would like to specifically mention the composition of the various active ingredients that can be found in nature and for thousands of years plants have been very appreciated for their healing properties. It is interesting to know that active substances are also often contained in poisonous plants and have a pharmaceutical benefit in small quantities and often it is also the case that some medicinal plants are completely toxic, but there are effective substances in the roots or other parts. The active ingredients usually can be found in the leaves, flowers, seeds or fruits and also the bark or roots are interesting for these purposes and there are numerous influencing factors that can affect the production of the active ingredients such as the state of development or the temperature. Plants also tend to produce more active ingredients when they are exposed to certain conditions such as temperature fluctuations or stress and of course the species and origin also play an important role and also in research the whole topic is still very important today and there are always new discoveries about new areas of application and almost daily new active things are discovered. For the pharmaceutical industry, the synthesis of the active ingredients is of great interest for the production of ready-made preparations and following the example of the alchemists, medicinal plants are one of the most important cornerstones for the development of today's medicine and even if it is often forgotten, numerous active ingredients in medical products have their origin in nature. Particularly interesting are usually the essential oils, alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids or saponins and it is believed that there are tens of thousands of plants that can be relevant for medical purposes and much of it is old knowledge and often forgotten and was already very important in numerous cultures. From an economic point of view, many medicinal plants are often imported and used for various areas such as for the production of teas and medicinal plants can also be used very well for the own production of medicines and here, for example, the leaves for tea are dried and also tinctures or juices can be interesting. At the end of my post, I would like to mention that in case of illness, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist about the correct medicine and application!
