Wildflower Season in Texas

    Wildflower season in Texas is in full swing right now. It is my favorite time of year here.

    Before I moved to Texas, I thought of Texas as an arid place, largely devoid of color. There is a little bit of truth to this, especially in West Texas.

    But in the Spring, mother nature gets out her paint brush and gives us beautiful splashes of color everywhere. I love the wildflowers here. Here are a few photos of some of my favorite scenes.
