Awake with the warm glow of the rising sun and a heart full of gratitude, I greet you this brand new day dearest Hiveans. As the first light of dawn breaks the horizon, let's choose to embrace the boundless potential that the future holds. The troubles and stresses of yesterday may linger like a faint shadow but today is a blank slate waiting to be filled with positivity and growth. Now for our daily shots still in monochrome, we got here a scene amidst the bustling crowd a woman paused, her attention captivated by the glowing phone screen in her hands. She was preoccupied with her phone engrossed in whatever digital world had captured her attention. Her surroundings seemed to melt away as she stood static in place and disconnected from the world or sea of people passing by in front of her.
Then we got here another scene, a little boy's fingers clung to the fabric of his father's shirt as they strolled through the downpour. His old man's used his free hand to shelter the small child from the chilly rain using an umbrella. In his gnarled fingers, he balanced their shared memories and a bag of the little one. In silent they merged with the other wet revellers one of them a couple sharing an umbrella, all lost in their own thoughts and soaked in more than water. They were just two among the throngs of humanity.
Then we got here a soaring high above the SM Mall, the panoramic view of Burnham Park reveals an awe-inspiring tableau. A serene man made lake with the scattered small boats that drift lazily across its water surface. The park itself with meticulously maintained gardens and meticulously manicured lawns. A vast expanse of concrete structures rise from the landscape with their sharp angles and angular lines juxtaposed against the natural beauty that surrounds them. Towering trees frame the park's edges with their gnarled branches weaving against the skyline. The scene below unfolds like a living, breathing painting, each element a testament to the careful craftsmanship of its creators.
Lastly is a young lady makes her way along the wet pavement after a heavy rain. Her sling bag swings rhythmically with each step while she holds on to her jacket. The young lady herself is a vision of grace and resilience. In this moment is a woman unflinched by the elements and undeterred in her journey.
