#780 - Colorful street scenes for Thursday.

Greetings on a Thursday evening dearest Hiveans. Our roof was still being replaced the whole day since yesterday because there's only two person doing it and during the summer time when temperature feels like 45 degrees Celsius which is already half the boiling point. My mother in law always made sure that the two carpenters who doing the work get a cold pitcher of water every couple of hours so they can hydrated as much as they lose water by sweating. They use gloves too because the galvanized metal is also hot when exposed to the direct heat from the sun. They actually came early today, before seven in the morning they are already on the roof trying to finish the replacement. The two carpenters were paid each day, the pro was paid one thousand pesos or around $20 while his companion was paid seven hundred pesos. They had free lunch and also merienda during break times.

And moving on to our daily shots here's our first showing a couple of the modern jeepneys which already has air-conditioning. The sitting arrangements is also the same though a passenger can fully stand inside unlike the olds that you have to squat or curl your legs to enter. There are also modern jeepneys that the sitting arrangements is like the huge buses already. There's a lot of them here in the metropolitan but haven't seen one yet in the city of pines.

Then this frame was taken inside the vicinity of the famed Burnham park and we have here two men on the left, one is checking his phone while the other is also using the phone for taking photos as remembrance. The walking path on the park is paved with concrete so even during the rainy season it is not going to get muddy at all except the areas where the plants are. Far ahead are more people just enjoying their walk and the view.

A tall man walks behind a jeepney that is waiting for passengers. The man could be a driver or a collector wherein every jeep that is queuing will have to give some sort of amount like a tax for their organization or association. We could also see other pedestrians way back and one of them is a young mother with her baby in a front or chest carrier.

The uphill steps or stairs going to the Cathedral of this city. We can see a street name indicating that this area is what they call Session road and the market area and the Malcolm park is just a few meters away. Walking the streets of this city is a great way to exercise in the morning because the streets are different, there are downhills and uphills almost anywhere in this city built on top of mountains and hills. We could see a couple in red colors walking down and having a smile and right beside them are two women helping each other carry a heavy ecobag going upstairs in the church direction.

Lastly is a scene in one of the streets wherein a local I can tell, is wearing denim jeans and also denim jacket with his mountaineering backpack 🎒 is walking towards the number of people. One is a jeepney passenger waiting for another passenger to hop in first in front of the jeepney beside the driver side. Then a mother is there also walking and texting while carrying her little angel.
