Here you can see some weapons that were made of bronze and used by Mycenaean warriors and the Mycenaean culture was considered one of the first advanced cultures on the Greek mainland and existed approximately between 1600 and 1200 BC. The Mycenaean culture was considered very mysterious and the origin of many important things and when it comes to craftsmanship, the Mycenaeans had a huge influence and were known to engage in a lot of trade with other countries and for this numerous trade networks were built and it emerges from legacies that they were particularly skilled in the production of goods made of metal or ceramics. Even when it came to the construction of magnificent buildings, they had a great influence and so large palaces and other architectural masterpieces were created and they even had their own writing system and from traditions it is clear that there were numerous different rituals and there are also traditions which references how important the blacksmiths were and what relationships they maintained with the kings in other countries and supplied them with their works. You can see here blades, short swords as well as the tips of lances which belonged to the typical equipment of Mycenaean warriors and as can be seen from tradition, it was generally a warlike civilization and this has also often flowed into their art and so you often see scenes of warriors on their vases. Even when it comes to the production of armor, the forges were of great importance and and the typical armor was also used for ritual events and there are also discoveries of golden masks which were produced and also other important objects for daily life were made by the forges of this high culture and the art of blacksmithing had a great priority and has shaped the whole culture.
