Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

I feel happy to be among great minds it is a great opportunity to be part of the Hive blockchain community and am so delighted to tell you all about myself,I have heard about hive Blockchain for months now from my friends @chidistick and @rubiiess,they told me about the hive blockchain that it is a platform where you share valuable ideas and talent and you get paid. I was thrilled when I heard that and was eager to join the hive Blockchain,but then the advised me to wait for a seminar that will be coming up on the 13th of December 2024,so that I can be more enlightened on the hive blockchain.but before I will continue I will like to introduce myself properly.

I heard about this platform from a friend,sister and more who always wanted the best for me. Thus; We've discussed and I understand how this platform has developed the life of many in terms of relating with people and also creating Valuable content which they don't know before and I'm looking forward to connecting with like-minded individuals who share my passions.

"Writers write in solitude, while readers read in solitude." This is what Sir John Dante, a Cebuano fiction writer, said to us when we invited him to be the speaker of the writing workshop we once had in our university. I cannot forget how I immediately found beauty in those words. I mean, don't you find it amazing how both writers and readers can have the freedom they want to do the things they love individually and yet still find comfort in each other? To do something you are passionate about in solitude while not being completely in solitude, to discover and to connect with your own people—that is what I am much looking forward to here in Hive.

That was the question by my pen pal from Bangladesh, writing to me that he will gather the words and gather the thoughts if I wish to read them. My response would’ve been an immediate “yes,” but it struck me for a while as I began to ruminate why something is wrong with that question. Eventually, I figured it out, and I sent a letter in response to his. You might wonder, “If not yes, what was her answer?” “How is this related to her blog?” Should you be willing to know, kind reader, my reply is at the end of this Hive intro. And if you scroll through in a leisurely manner, you might actually find yourself knowing several things about me. So, hop on!

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
