HELLO HIVE
To do that, we have to understand certain physical traits and behaviors pointing to certain signs, and once we can do that,t, our work as livestock farmers becomes a whole lot easier than we thought.
For this period right now there's no grass due to unavailable rainfall that runs throughout this time of the year, but we still have to feed them to make them survive until the rain starts falling and we begin to have green grass all over the place that they can easily feed on.
But right now, they can feed on leftover meals from the kitchen to prevent wastage while we can also get them fed once in a while as much as we can afford.
We have to do our very best not to starve them, and if you know getting feeds will be almost impossible, then it's better not to venture into livestock farming cause it will become so frustrating when someone begins to struggle with feeds all the time.
Now my young goat is currently doing well and it's looking very energetic by the day, it is not struggling with feed since it is still on its mother's milk the main problem now is how to make sure that the mother is not malnutrition during this period when feeds are scarce cause it's from the abundance that she's eating that her kid would be benefiting from.
It is very important to raise healthy livestock; it just has a special way of showing that the farmer actually knows what they are doing.
