OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1670th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

A friendly greeting dear Hivers. Today I want to share with you my experience of a somewhat different Wednesday ride. This time, it was not just a simple walk around the city, but I had the opportunity to travel by plane for the first time to the bustling city of Caracas. That's right, in my 30 years I had never been on a plane before and despite the many rumors I had heard about being nervous the first time, I had no negative predisposition about it. In fact I had always wanted to travel by plane and this first experience made it clear to me that I am not nervous at all for this kind of trips.

They say "Calm seas make for poor sailors." or conversely "Rough seas make for good sailors."

I am not sure who's saying it is. It is encouraging but it is not something you want to hear while you are busy drowning, never mind on a ship in a storm.

As we grow in years and maturity, it is inevitable not to think about all the bad times or tastelessness that could have been avoided if we had had the experience we have after passing the years or living certain situations, also in how our life could be different if we had dared to do or, on the contrary, if we had not taken certain decisions, since every decision brings a consequence.

The theme is titled "Amor de Lejos" (Love from Afar), and it deals with an experience that many of us have lived: having a long-distance love through a social network or due to emigration. This phenomenon is particularly relevant in my country, where emigration has marked the lives of many people. When I composed this song, the situation was very different, but nowadays, the lyrics take on new relevance and resonance. I am accompanied by my old cuatro, the faithful one that has remained with me out of many I have had, some of which I gave as gifts, others got damaged, and others were stolen from me 😃. Nowadays, my country 🇻🇪 has undergone a drastic change, making it almost impossible to buy a new cuatro... That's why it has been very helpful to belong to this great #hive ecosystem and its video platform #3speak.
