When we realize the great love that God has for us, in a way that I would say "automatically" we also begin to love Him with a growing love that we would like to be greater. When we realize that the way He wants us to show Him love is through active love for our brothers, service, support, solidarity with the other, towards the other, also becomes "automatic." They say that on one occasion an American journalist went to the convent where Mother Teresa of Calcutta lived to interview her. They informed him that she was not there but had gone to a very poor neighborhood nearby. The journalist went to look for her there and found her crouching removing worms from a beggar's diseased leg. Pero Su Gracia compensa nuestras deficiencias y nos conduce por el camino del bien. Cuando nos damos cuenta del gran amor que Dios tiene por nosotros, de una manera que diría "automáticamente" también comenzamos a amarlo con un amor creciente que quisiéramos que fuera mayor. Cuando nos damos cuenta de que la forma en que Él quiere que le mostremos amor es a través del amor activo hacia nuestros hermanos, el servicio, el apoyo, la solidaridad con el otro, hacia el otro, también se vuelve "automático".
