Prayer Is The Ligament That Sustain Our Relationship With God
Every relationship involves communication. We communicate to enhance our relationship. God wants us to keep a good flow of relationship with Him. He wants to hear us come to Him everytime and every day. He wants us to look up to Him in everything. He wants to see us around Him. The three spiritual activities that I know help in building one's relationship with God are Worship, Bible study, and Prayer.
When We Ask, We Should Receive
Jesus Christ taught us to pray, Matthew 6:9-13. He said we should pray always, Luke 18:1. He said that we should ask that we will receive; we should seek that we will find; and we should knock that the door will be opened, Matthew 7:7. Everyone who ask receives, Matthew 7:8.
Prayer should be accompanied by an answer. God promises to answer when we call, Jeremiah 33:3. When we pray, we should expect answers. We pray and receive. We receive by faith. The Bible says when we pray, we should believe that we have received, **_Matthew
Why There Is No Answers

Why most of our prayers do not bring answers is because we ask amiss. We ask out of lust and greed. We ask to consume in wantonness. We ask not because it is a need but because we want to compete with others. We are lustful. So, the cause of unanswered prayers is lustful desires and sensuality. If we want God to answer our prayers, let's pray right.
