We went to a party the other day. There were so many cars that we parked a little far away from the venue. Dada said he would check how things were going and call Mommy when he found a place for us. It was so hot Mom and I stayed in the car and kept ourselves cool. I slept while waiting.

It was past midday when Mommy woke me up saying we should go where Dada was. We walked (Mom carried me on her right arm with an umbrella on the left) and some old folks were trying to get to know me saying I was adorable but I growled at them. One of the old women got scared but laughed afterward saying I wasn't friendly. Mommy apologized for what I did. She's always nice to people but their scents are weird.
Anyway, Mommy was tired so we stopped and found a space by the road barrier to sit on. Dada called saying he's got food so we just waited for him where we were. The heat was unbearable so Mummy said we would return to the car when Dada came.

We had been there for maybe 20 minutes when Dada called saying he was already in the car. We didn't notice him pass by because we were distracted by the nosy guy a few yards away. So Mommy got up and headed to where we parked.
We were already famished so we ate quickly. There were big chunks of meat but no bones for me. The butcher must have taken them all. I enjoyed what I was given nonetheless.
After the meal, Dada bought Halo Halo for dessert. He said it was a perfect treat for the hot day. The crushed ice was too much and lacked some ingredients - not even a scope of ice cream on top or a Flan de Leche.

When they finished each of their cups, they thought we should find a place with some trees for some fresher air. We drove away and pulled over soon after. We found a good spot by the roadside.
We got out of the car and Mom kicked her shoes off and walked barefoot on the top of the concrete barrier. I was surprised since she rarely does that. She's scared of germs but for some reason, she didn't seem to bother at that time.

I can't believe it I kept staring at her trying to check if she was okay without her shoes. But yeah, she survived, lol!

Well, they let me be so I made that space like my own runway until they asked if we should go for a drive somewhere. I was attentive of course! I didn't want to be left out of details.😅
So we drove away from that spot and went on for a wee adventure. I'm sure Mommy will share about that on another day.
