Last summer, we visited Chicago for my nephew's wedding. We arrived two days before the big day and took the opportunity to explore the city, visiting its famous landmarks and attractions.

One of our stops was Navy Pier, located along beautiful Lake Michigan, and is one of Chicago’s favorite spots. It has a lovely waterfront, rich history, and amazing views.

Walking along Navy Pier was lively and refreshing, as we felt the cool lake breeze.
The wide promenade is alive with activity, with families enjoying the attractions and live music. We even took a moment to join the crowd and dance.

As plant lovers, we were especially captivated by the planters overflowing with vibrant flowers like canna lilies, begonias, bridal wreath spirea, and many others. The lush greenery was a beautiful and refreshing sight, even in the summer heat.

On one side is the panoramic view of the shimmering lake, with sailboats and occasional tour boats gliding by. whether it's to watch the play of sunlight on the water or while Chicago’s skyline rises in the background.
The Chicago skyline is often regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world, and Navy Pier provides one of the best vantage points to admire it.

As the sun sets behind the city, the skyline glows in golden yellow creating a romantic and magical backdrop.
