Hi hi hello hello, it's another day to give a voice to the thoughts in my head. Today's prompt is different and it's definitely going to give me a whole lot to yap about.
“There's a great deal of unrest in the world. In what ways do you try to create thoughtfulness in your everyday life? What would YOU do, to make this a better world?”
In my opinion everyone has a different perspective of how the world works, what is right or wrong and a whole lot of things so the answers I will give will be based on my own perception of the world generally.
Thoughtfulness is not just a random word for me it means being conscious. That is being intentional whether it is being kind, being present, showing love, being respectful. Doing them consciously is what thoughtfulness is to me
The ways I try to create thoughtfulness in my everyday life includes:
- I stay present in conversations. I talk , I listen , I contribute. The world has changed so much that people are more interested in gadgets when they meet up rather than actually communicate with the human in front of them.
- One thing that has helped is putting myself in another person's shoes. Try to see it from their own point of view and really understand why these things happened and what led to it.
- I try to stay positive. Things happen on a daily basis but I try to stay positive so I won't pass on negative energy to another person.
- Oh this is my best. I say thank you a lot. Someone holds the door open and I say thank you. I got down from a cab. Thank you. I learnt overtime that the smallest thing as thank you can uplift someone's spirit in ways one can't imagine
- Lastly, I try to give back to society whenever I can.
What would I do to make this a better world?
Honestly I'd treat others the way I would love to be treated.
