I am in shock and not amused by what I found in my letter from then hospital. I've been attending the falls unit as my blood pressure drops dramatically whenever I stand up, whilst I was at the falls unit they tested me again finding it drops 40 points which is way too much. I get very lightheaded and lose my balance, luckily I haven't fallen yet as I have plenty of things to hang onto.
I received the letter last week telling me that I needed to have a medication review ASAP and when I looked at the top of the letter I saw this.
When did that happen, I know I turned 60 last month but why have they got to put that on your letters, It made me feel really old. I instantly aged.
They are thinking my dizziness is due to the medication I take, I do take quite a few pills for different problems, we are going to have to work out which ones I could possibly do without, I'm not holding my breath because the medication I take helps with my problems so if I have to start having more pain etc they can find another way to sort it out.
I've been told to up my water as I don't drink nearly enough, I've bought myself a bottle that I can carry around with me which is actually helping me drink more especially since the sun has found its way here and it's pretty hot.
I've hardly spent any time out there over the last 2 years so this year hubby and I are sorting it out, taking my pots and planting them into a little garden space I have in the front of my house cutting down on all the pots as they take a lot of time and energy. I'm also sorting out my Bee corner as its started to look run down, I need a stronger front panel of wood plus new Bee houses and more Lavender, I refuse to remove my Bee corner as I get a lot of enjoyment out of it . . . . My garden will have a lot more room plus we have bought a ln outside rug for the decking making it less hazardous to walk on.
We are going out on Monday to buy a few more flowering bushes for the front garden and a lot more compost. We are also going out looking for a new kitchen and wanting my shower room changed to a wet room, this will save me so much time and energy especially when coming to clean it, no more doors to keep shiny clean, just 4 walls, ceiling and floor to mop down.
I can't wait until everything v is done then I can relax and enjoy what time I have left since I'm now elderly. Hubbys mum is helping is choose as she likes her days out with us. 2024 is going to be hectic then 2025 we can relax and plan the cruise we want to go on.
