Kim Yong-man, director of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea Memorial Project, who was strategically nominated by the Democratic Party of Korea as a great-grandson of Baekbeom Kim Koo, announced his candidacy in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province on the 6th.
Director Kim announced his candidacy at Misah Lake Park in Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do this morning.
Director Kim said in a declaration of his candidacy, "The freedom to live well for the people that Kim Koo has emphasized all his life is nowhere to come to Korea now," adding, "We will definitely judge the dictatorship of the prosecution in Yoon Suk Yeol, which only considers their own safety, and regain real freedom."

Kim Gu's great-grandchild is running for office.

outraged by the current administration's perception of independence fighters
After joining the party, he ran as a candidate for the National Assembly.

I think it's better to come out in a district that's not proportional.

I hope you get a good result in the general election.
