What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Small decline this week in HP delegations, down 1k from last week's 314k. Thats marks the first decline in around 20 weeks so bummer. Next week will be better as I can see there are 317k being delegated at the time of writing. We're looking strong at over 300k
I am normally consistent with what time i claim curation rewards each week but this week was around 12 hours later than normal so we see a spike in the curation APY. Every ying has a yang so we can guess that next weeks curation APY will be lower. The voting power for the account is stable to increasing slowly so we've not overused any of that.
As said above, this weeks week was around 12 hours longer so we claimed more HP this week, 617.32 to be exact. Thats a crap ton of HIVE to earn from curation and I'd love for us to get used to it.
Big HP curation rewards means big EDS mintage and this week, eds-vote minted 308.66 EDS which is for the first time more than what EDS miners mint in a week. I never would have thought eds-vote could catch up with EDS miners in terms of minting EDS. This week is a long week but only by 1/14th so there is a chance we'll repeat this feat and do it again.
