In the past, there have been reports that an allergic person was taken to a hospital with serious shortness of breath after being bitten by a hamster, according to the media. In May 2007, a British man almost died of anaphylactic shock after being bitten by a hamster.
Describing the situation at the time, the paramedics said, "It was a very unusual situation. At first, I was called an allergic reaction, but I didn't know it was caused by a hamster until I arrived at the scene."
This caused a big stir at the time, and an official from the Hamster Association of the United Kingdom said, "I've been raising hamsters for 20 years, but this is the first time I've seen such a situation," adding, "Hamsters usually don't transmit diseases that can affect humans. Such extreme consequences can only occur if a person's immune system is severely weakened."
Basically, no one knows what's going to happen between animals and people.
It's best to thoroughly prevent things you don't know.
