    According to Dohyeon's family and lawyer Ha, there was a big difference between the analysis of the National Forensic Service and the reenactment test data of "no vehicle defects, driver's pedal malfunction," both of the accident recording devices (EDR) immediately before and after the collision.

    First, when the transmission was placed on the driving (D) at 40km/h just before the collision and the accelerator pedal was pressed as much as possible for two or three seconds, the actual speed was 73km, the RPM was 3,000→6,000 times, and the gear was shifted from the fourth to the second and third stages. This is far from the analysis of the number of times that the speed and RPM were constant at 40km/h and 6,200 to 6,400 times in the gear neutral (N) state.

    In the test, which assumes that the vehicle in the accident collides with the morning vehicle, it took 18 seconds for the speed of the accident vehicle to rise from 44 kilometers per hour to 120 kilometers per hour. Again, the result was that it took 24 seconds for the National Forensic Service to increase from 40 kilometers per hour to 116 kilometers per hour. The RPM graph was also different from the re-enactment test (4→2→3→4) and the analysis of the National Forensic Service (2→3→4→3).

    In addition, based on the EDR at the time, the National Forensic Service said that the speed increased from 110 kilometers per hour to 116 kilometers per hour when the driver stepped on the full-exel in the last five seconds before the accident. On the other hand, in the re-enactment test, the speed was 124 kilometers per hour and 130 kilometers per hour, respectively. Dohyeon-gun emphasized that the fact that the speed increased only by 6 kilometers per hour even after stepping on the full-exel and that it took 24 seconds from 40 kilometers to 116 kilometers per hour after the collision was "because my grandmother stepped on the brake."

    Dohyeon-gun's family and manufacturer are expected to continue a fierce court battle over the results of the reenactment test at the hearing on the 18th of next month.

    Meanwhile, Dohyeon-gun's family also conducted an automatic emergency braking (AEB) function re-enactment test at the parking lot of Gangneung Church in Gangneung City on the same day. The reason why the AEB did not work before the car in the accident rear-ended the morning car was to prove that it was a defect.
