It is never too late to be what you might have been. (George Eliot)

It is easy to think in life that it is too late for things. I am getting older, meaning that I am way too late to become a football player playing for a good team. That isn't really annoying, but I do love to play football, and it annoys me that I'm not better than I am. So, what can I do about it? I can sit down and feel sorry for myself, or I can stand up, exercise, and try to be the best possible footballer improving the most at my current age. Who knows? Maybe I will be a super-star in football by the time I reach 60? After all, those who are pros know grow big bellies and stop playing long time before, so I will be better then?

But, it might not even be that important. However, if it is important to me, then it is never too late to start improving and changing things.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I hope you will pick up on this line as well. Maybe I am not a super programmer (that is true). Of course, it is easier to learn languages, programming, and other things while you are young, but that doesn't mean I should just be sad and think upon learning languages and programming as something I am too late for. Not at all! If I want to, I can improve and learn today. Not only will it help me today, but my brain will be alert and ready, making me the best programming 80 year old on future hackathons and more (at least if that is something I would like to do).

Once again, do not look upon all those chances that you had but didn't take and let them make you feel miserable. Instead, look upon them, and then think about what you can do today to catch up on those dreams!
