Killing Four Birds With One Stone

I’ve been on a health regime since just before the new year started, so it’s not strictly a new year resolution per se. I’ve been ensuring to get at least 2 hours outdoors walking every day, come rain or shine. Or snow.

As such, I’ve been caught in the rain a couple of times, including the time when my umbrella was no good haha. We had some horizontal rain that made a total mockery of all the umbrellas :)

Today was freeing cold. I saw that we were going to get a respite from the rain, so I waited before heading out. It was cold though, so I couldn’t record the video/vlog I planed to do. I had to have my hands in my pocket to keep them warm.

It got slightly milder as the day progressed and the sun even peeked out from behind the clouds during the later part of the day. Being solar powered myself, or might as well be, I’m always happy to see the sun. Everything changes, from my mood to energy levels, with the emergence of the golden ball of fire in the sky.

I walked past a barber’s shop and decide to get a haircut. I just so happed to have the correct cash on me, big coincidence, which was just as well since the shop has no other way to pay. I’ve been advising him for years to get one of those card readers but he just hasn’t done it. Maybe he has his reasons.

I had wandered too far from home so I decided to take a coffee pit stop to warm up a little before heading back home. It was a productive outing at least. I killed about four birds with one stone.
