Good morning, afternoon, or evening, internet users. I would like to share a bit about myself, an aspiring artist and art lover. I will tell you a little about me and my artistic process. Without further ado, let's begin.

My name is Karelia, I am 19 years old, and I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I am a student of fine arts and will soon be studying psychology. I enjoy drawing both traditionally and digitally, although my passion is definitely traditional art. I love the process of getting messy while creating. I adore reading, and my favorite literary genres are romance, psychology, and young adult novels. I also love writing short stories and poetry. I used to sing and act when I was younger, but I stopped due to stage fright. I am interested in everything related to fine arts, I work with clay and flexible dough, I enjoy painting with acrylics and watercolors, and I recite what I write. I am a fan of classical music, rock, pop, ballads, and music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. I also love collecting things that I find interesting. My art professor @nahupuku show me this Hive platform and Im here making my first post.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt inclined towards everything related to the artistic field. When my father noticed this, he encouraged my creativity and made sure I was always learning new things by buying me crayons, paints, brushes, and watercolors of all kinds, as well as lots of craft materials. Thanks to him, I started creating and experimenting with various materials from a very young age.

As I grew and learned to draw, I felt the need to create something new, something that was mine. But this didn't happen until I turned 17. At 17, I completed my first landscape painting, which meant a lot to me. I began researching art more deeply and felt a special affinity for abstract art, expressionism, impressionism, and surrealism. Here is my first painting:

Thanks to this first experiment, I discovered my love for color and painting and developed my own painting style, which I love and hope to continue developing.

I started creating more and more paintings with the intention of experimenting and further nurturing my personal style. I love the explosion of color, the overflow of passion when creating, mixing abstract and figurative art in my paintings, and creating scenes or landscapes that do not exist. I always focus on color, filling the entire canvas. I usually paint in small formats and pay attention to even the smallest detail. For this, I use a small brush meant for manicures and a small wooden stick that always accompanies me.

To create these paintings, I use watercolor, acrylic paints, and cold paints. I am currently seeking to take my painting style to something much deeper and more meaningful because I believe that art doesn't have to be pretty. Recently, I have been interested in abstract art and the ability to convey emotions through my paintings.

In life, I aspire only to be happy and to make others happy. I want to help, learn, and heal through art and art therapy. I am open to experiencing and fully living this beautiful process of artistic development. Art is magical; it is a world of possibilities. Art heals, art is precious, and for this reason, to conclude, I invite everyone reading this to try creating art at least once in their lives because art heals, teaches, and conveys. One day, you might be the one to heal someone else, and there is nothing more precious than that—to create and love. Always be yourselves, be happy, and remember that the secret to happiness is nothing more than authenticity. Buenos días, tardes o noches internautas, a continuación, contaré un poco sobre mí, una aspirante a artista y amante del arte, les hablaré un poco de mí y de mí proceso artístico, sin nada más que decir, comencemos. Mi nombre es Karelia, tengo 19 años y nací en Caracas-Venezuela, soy estudiante de artes plásticas y futuramente estudiante de psicología, me gusta dibujar tradicionalmente y en digital aunque sin duda mí pasión es lo tradicional, adoro el proceso de mancharme al crear, amo leer, mis géneros literarios predilectos son: Romance, psicología y novelas juveniles, amo escribir historias cortas y poesía, solía cantar y actuar cuando era más chica pero lo dejé por mí pánico escénico, me gusta todo lo que tenga que ver con artes plásticas, trabajo con arcilla y masa flexible, me gusta pintar con acrílico y también pinto con acuarelas, recito lo que escribo, soy amante de la música clásica, rock, pop, baladas y música de los 60s, 70s, 80s, y 90s) también amo coleccionar cosas que me resulten interesantes. Mi profesor de arte de la universidad @nahupuku me enseñó a esta plataforma de Hive.

Desde que tengo memoria me he sentido inclinada por todo lo que está relacionado con el ámbito artístico, mi padre al darse cuenta de esto estímulo mí creatividad y procuraba que aprendiera cosas nuevas siempre, comprándome crayones, pinturas, pinceles y acuarelas de todo tipo, también mucho material para manualidades, gracias a él desde muy pequeña empecé a crear y experimentar con diversos materiales.

A medida que crecía y aprendía a dibujar sentía la necesidad de hacer algo nuevo, de crear algo nuevo, algo que fuera mío, pero esto no pasó hasta que cumplí mis 17 años, a mis 17 años realicé mí primera pintura paisajista, algo que significó mucho para mí, empecé a investigar mucho más sobre el arte sintiendo especial afinidad por el arte abstracto, el expresionismo, impresionismo y el surrealismo, a continuación, les muestro mí primera pintura:

Gracias a este primer experimento descubrí mí amor por el color, por la pintura y desarrollé mí propio estilo de pintura que amo y espero poder seguir desarrollandolo.

Empecé a crear más y más pinturas con la intención de experimentar y alimentar más mí estilo personal, me gusta la explosión de color, el desborde de pasión al crear, mezclar en mis pinturas lo abstracto y el arte figurativo, además de hacer escenarios o paisajes que no existen, sin olvidar el color, el llenar todo el lienzo, suelo pintar en formatos pequeños y procuro fijarme siempre hasta en el más mínimo detalle, para esto debo usar un pequeño pincel que se usa para la manicura y un pequeño palito de madera que siempre me acompaña.

Para realizar estas pinturas utilizo acuarela, pinturas acrílicas y pinturas al frío. Actualmente me encuentro en la búsqueda de llevar mí estilo de pintura a algo mucho más profundo y significativo porque sin duda sé que el arte no tiene que ser bonito, recientemente he estado interesada en el arte abstracto, me interesa mucho más el poder transmitir alguna emoción con mis pinturas.

Aspiro de la vida únicamente el ser feliz y hacer feliz, quiero ayudar, aprender y sanar mediante el arte, mediante la arte-terapia, estoy abierta a experimentar y vivir al máximo este hermoso proceso de desarrollo artístico, el arte es mágico, es un mundo de posibilidades, el arte sana, el arte es precioso y por esto, para concluir, invito a todas las personas que me leen a intentar alguna vez en sus vidas el crear arte porque el arte sana, enseña, transmite y, el día de mañana puedes ser tú quien sane a alguien más y no hay nada más precioso que eso, el crear y amar, sean ustedes mismos siempre, sean felices y recuerden que el secreto de la felicidad no es más que la autenticidad, sin nada más que decir muchísimas gracias por leerme y espero que todo vaya bien en sus vidas, esto no es un adiós sino un ¡hasta pronto!
