    Rose from funeral flowers

On Saturday morning I was up at 5AM and started working on getting posts written and up. I finished just after 11AM. I sat for a while and then decided to make roasted vegetables. I had some pears that needed used.

I was still pretty exhausted from the last 2 weeks and it took a while to get the butternut peeled. The rest went quickly and soon the oven was heating the kitchen. I hadn’t lit the masonry heater the night before.

I watched Christmas movies and my sister’s progress across the country on the 360 app. Tom had installed it on my husband’s phone. She got into the town she was staying the night about 4PM.

On Sunday I will start paying bills. I have 3 forms I also have to fill out. My #2 intern is coming at 10AM to help me get leaves out of gardens and small spaces. The leaves are nearly all off the white oak tree now.

The temperatures have dropped after the unseasonal highs of last week. The race is on to get garden beds ready for winter.
