US Crackdown on Google

I'm not gonna lie I don't get why the DOJ is going so hard on google when apple still in America forces all browsers to be safari with a new skin on iOS, and I don't get how this solves a monopoly on search engines

I think their notion is that Google Chrome is the prime gateway to Google (it's hard not to argue otherwise) and selling it to others would most likely change the default search engine and whatever governance and control Google have.
But if they are willing to force such upon Google, so should be for Apple. I honestly think it is a dumb thing that won't even change anything because Google still is better for a lot of searches, so people will probably just switch back and then complain how they can't use the breaker they are used to.
Google search quality has massively deteriorated over the last several years.
Google serve bad results to you on purpose in order to get you to click on the ad results. But it is still better than the others
Even when using bing which I like I have to change to Google a lot due to it having better results. All search engines suck and we need ai to surf the web easily now but google is still the terracore best one sadly.
