Our forecast was for 39f but down in this area we usually get about 5 degrees colder.
We covered up the tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini. I turned the water on the cucumbers about 2:30 am this saved them.
We decided to go ahead and pick the tomatoes and call it a year.
We had a pretty good crop of tomatoes and have lots of Salsa, canned Tomatoes and Tomoto sauce put up for the year.
With days getting shorter everything is growing slower. It looks like we could get a little over a week before the next frost. This years gardening season will start winding down quick now.
