    A NEW OLD CAMERA

I'm not sure it's Kodak themselves, or some other company that acquired the name, but recently there have been many products released under the "Kodak" name. From printing paper to smartphone accessories to, now, faux vintage 35mm film cameras.

As a member of the film photography renaissance myself, this is something the community has asked for over and over again: new cameras that work. However I think people were looking for something a little bit more technically advanced; like a film version of a Fujifilm X100 series for example. Instead they went for this totally plastic, single mould thing.

Most people over the age of 30 probably still have their old point and shoot cameras that would be far superior to this one, but the idea is that these are easy to use and use modern batteries, unlike the older vintage cameras that sometimes use batteries that are no longer made, being outlawed or are just too hard to find or too expensive.

The next step would be to make these cameras USB chargeable. That would be awesome. We have the tech now, I don't know why this wasn't included off the bat. The ones with flash would benefit from it for sure. This particular camera only requires batteries for the flash. It's a fixed focus camera so no electrics in the lens whatsoever.

This video is a quick look at the cameras and was uploaded unto Amazon to help people decide on purchase. It's basically a "closer look" than just the photos and text.

    Peace & Love,

    Adé
