Happy end of Mercury Retrograde - to those who celebrate 😆
Mercury was retrograde in the sign of Aries, April 1, 2024 - today, April 25 at 9am EDT.
When referencing "Astrology" I'll often use "quotes" because I've created my own applications and systems for it - ones that blend ancient wisdom and emerging techniques with strategy.
I use it as data. And it gets results for me and my clients.
Here's what it is and how I use it (and how you can use it, too):
Mercury retrograde is a phenomenon in astrology where the planet Mercury appears to move backward in its orbit. Appears = is not actually backwards.
This approx 3 week period is often associated with miscommunication, technical glitches, and delays in various aspects of life.
Fearing Mercury retrograde is silly - especially since it happens 3 to 4 times a year.
I use the period as an opportunity for reflection, reassessment, and realignment.
During the retrograde, I remained extra mindful of areas of confusion, old issues, projects, and contacts that came back to "life" - I viewed them as potentially holding greater significance than normal.
However, rather than acting on everything, responding to every inconvenience, and generally attempting to force change - I reflected, surrendered, and allowed for clarity. I let "it" guide me.
As this Mercury retrograde was in Aries, which is a fiery, dynamic energy focused on initiation and leadership, that 'flavored' this particular retrograde and period of revision and rewind.
Through this lens, this Mercury retrograde was guiding all of us revisit goals, passions, and reflect on individual identity. Shining a light on our approaches to assertiveness, leadership, and self-expression.
Now with Mercury stationed direct (Mercury retrograde is over), the stage is set to go forth with renewed clarity and consideration with how your assertiveness and leadership style aligns with your long-term goals and values.
Considering we experienced a total Solar Eclipse and Jupiter-Uranus conjunction during this Mercury Retrograde, it may have held additional significance for you... and the collective.
Personally, it was deeply significant and coincided with tremendous confusion then renewed clarity.
Collectively, I forecast this Mercury Retrograde to have been a 'signal' for some squirrely tech and election developments.
