This trip has the best memories in my heart. It was a trip that was really very joyful. Curious, because it was being in a place where there was everything but nothing was left. And this trip was also peculiar because I was in the middle of a city, visiting places unknown to me, like going inside the Rockefeller Center, seeing a Broadway play and being at a private party of wealthy people in the city, when of course Well first off, my friend Austin wrote to ask me if I was still in the city. We had already been together a few weeks ago working together and then I had to continue working in NYC. So I told him that I was in the city for a few more days, and then I had no plan, which as you always know when I travel for work left me a few extra days before returning to see new places.
Then he proposed that I go with his children on a family trip for a few days to some national parks. I said yes clearly because it would be a destination I had never known, so the next day I got a ticket to travel and I went there to see them. I arrived, we got in the car and the adventure began. We drove in his car with the boys about 700 km. The trip was very long but going in a car and with a family of friends is really a lot of fun. We went singing with the guys who are incredibly fun and cool. We made a few stops for feeding and to go to the bathroom a few times. Also on the trip, Steve, the youngest of the boys, was obsessed with farts and whenever we were talking about something serious he would have a fart prepared to be shared in the car and we would all start insulting him and laughing at the same time.
When we arrived at our destination, we left our things and went to the national park. As soon as we were entering, the place was truly impressive. From afar you could see the mountains and the different colors that represent the tectonic layers of the earth, that is, the years that passed there. This is a park that was petrified by the events that happened on Earth with meteorites and that were part of our history and gave rise to our evolution being present.
Walking through the park and all the paths we walked we found that there were stones with drawings from civilizations before us. Who knows if they were indigenous or if they belonged to some homo sapiens, there were no signs. Also among the petrified stones we found many remains of animal bones and also some of dinosaurs, it was really incredible.
The experience of being there was impressive and in that place one felt really tiny in the face of such immensity and mainly the experience shared with Austin's family (Kate and Steve) was beautiful and unforgettable because they made me be part of their family for those days and I didn't want the trip to end.

Este viaje tiene en mi corazón los mejores recuerdos. Fue un viaje que realmente fue muy alegre. Curioso, porque fue estar en un lugar en donde hubo todo pero no quedaba nada. Y también fue peculiar este viaje porque yo estaba en medio de una ciudad, visitando lugares desconocidos para mi, como meterse dentro del rockefeller center, ver una obra de teatro de broadway y estar en alguna fiesta privada de gente pudiente de la ciudad, cuando de buenas a primeras mi amigo Austin, me escribe para preguntarme si todavia seguia en la ciudad. Nosotros ya habíamos estado juntos unas semanas atrás trabajando juntos y después me quedaba seguir trabajando en NYC. Entonces le dije que estaba en la ciudad por unos días más, y después no tenía plan, que como ustedes saben siempre que viaje por trabajo me dejó unos días extra antes de volver para conocer lugares nuevos.
Entonces me propuso irme con sus hijos a un viaje familiar de unos días a unos parques nacionales. Le dije que sí claramente porque sería un destino que no hubiera conocido, así que al otro día conseguí un pasaje para viajar y me fui para allá a verlos. Llegué, nos montamos en el auto y arrancó la aventura. Rodamos en su auto con los chicos unos 700 kms. El viaje fue muy largo pero ir en un auto y con familia de amigos es realmente muy divertido. fuimos cantando con los chicos que son increíblemente divertidos y buena onda. Hicimos algunas paradas para alimentarse y para ir al baño algunas veces. En el viaje además Steve, el menor de los chicos, estaba obsesionado con los pedos y siempre que estábamos hablando de algo serio el tenia un pedo preparado para ser compartido dentro del auto y que todos lo empecemos a insultar y a reírnos al mismo tiempo.
Cuando llegamos a destino, dejamos nuestras cosas y nos fuimos para el parque nacional. El lugar apenas estábamos entrando ya era realmente imponente. Desde lejos se veían las montañas y los diferentes colores que representan las capas tectónicas de la tierra, osea de los años que fueron pasando allí. Este es un parque que quedó petrificado por los acontecimientos que sucedieron en la tierra con los meteoritos y que fueron parte de nuestra historia y dieron lugar a que nuestra evolución sea presente.
Caminando por el parque y todos los senderos que recorrimos encontramos que había piedras con dibujos de civilizaciones anteriores a nosotros. Vaya uno a saber si eran indígenas o si eran de algún homo sapiens no había carteles. También entre las piedras petrificadas encontramos muchos restos de huesos animales y también algunos de dinosaurios, fue realmente increíble.
La experiencia de estar allí fue imponente y en ese lugar uno se sentía realmente minúsculo ante tanta inmensidad y principalmente la experiencia compartida con la familia de Austin (Kate y Steve) fue hermosa e inolvidable por que me hicieron ser parte de su familia por esos días y no tenía ganas de que el viaje termine.
