Once upon a time I was wandering around the world and with that luck that precedes me so much I got a trip to Tokyo. This city is really crazy, you can't believe how different we are, we live in the same world but we seem very alien, I felt very alien to this place but I really liked it and the experience was surreal.
I remember that the first thing I noticed when I arrived in that city is that people see you and want to help you with a desire that is really genuine.
It happened to me that after settling in the hotel I had booked, I went out for a walk to see where I was and go crazy with everything because really everything I saw left me completely crazy, that's when I got lost and people very kindly helped me and even without understanding because they only spoke Japanese, and they did everything possible to help me and they succeeded. I mean they stopped following their destination to accompany you so you don't get lost!
One of the first things I did was to go for a drink because so many hours of flying killed me and I took the opportunity to meet friends with whom I was going to cross there to work. So we arranged to meet at a bar and it was crazy what happened. The first thing I found as soon as I entered was a huge painting of a Brazilian artist I met in Bahia called Annunciation, I was speechless, I could not understand what a painting was doing there.
With the girls we went everywhere besides working. They already knew and invited me to various places so that I could get to know some that they already knew and others that they didn't know. Something that caught my attention was the fashions. In Tokyo there are all kinds of random fashions that I find fascinating and I think they are a culture that really sets trends. Something that the girls told me, as well as this information that I tell you about fashion, is that they are one of the countries where morals, values are highly valued and are sincerely at another level in terms of life, poverty levels etc.. In theory they say that it is one of the countries where people live happiest in the world as well as in Denmark, but in contrast to this they also say that it is one of the countries where there is a higher suicide rate.
To close these last ones I went to two places where I was very much in love, one of them was a record store in the center of the city, but hidden, as a marginalized, very small and very unique. I found very rare and unusual things. And the other place is where the girls took me to dinner and I had one of the best meals and drinks not of my experience in this country, but one of the best of my life to this day. The level of flavors is beyond belief, the balance of flavors, the aromas, everything was perfect and I think it will be a night I will never forget.

En una ocasión estuve vagando por el mundo y con esa suerte que tanto me precede me salió un viaje a Tokio. Esta ciudad realmente es una locura, no se puede creer lo diferentes que somos vivimos en el mismo mundo pero parecemos muy ajenos, yo me sentí muy ajeno a este lugar pero me gusto muchísimo y la experiencia fue surreal.
Me acuerdo que lo primero que note cuando llegue a esa ciudad es que la gente te ve y te quiere ayudar con unas ganas que son realmente genuinas.
Me pasó que después de instalarme en el hotel que tenía reservado, salí a dar una vuelta para conocer donde estaba y enloquecer con todo porque realmente todo lo que miraba me dejaba completamente loco, fue ahí cuando me perdio y la gente muy amablemente me ayudó y aun sin entender porque solo hablaban Japonés, y hacían todo lo posible para ayudarme y lo lograban. Osea dejaban de seguir su destino para acompañarte para que no te pierdas!
Una de las primeras cosas que hice fue ir a tomar algo porque tantas horas de vuelo me mataron y aproveche para encontrarme con amigas con quien me iba a cruzar allí para trabajar. Asique quedamos en encontrarnos en un bar y fue muy loco lo que pasó. Lo primero que encontré apenas entré fue un cuadro enorme de un artista brasiler que conocí en Bahía que se llama Anunciación, me quedé mudo, no podía entender qué hacía un cuadro de ahí.
Con las chicas fuimos por todos lados además de trabajar. Ellas ya conocían y me invitaron a varios lados para que conozca algunos que ellas ya conocían y otros que no conocían. Algo que me llamó mucho la atención fueron las modas. En Tokio hay modas de todo tipo random que a mi me parecen fascinantes y creo que ellos son una cultura que realmente marca tendencia. Algo que me contaban las chicas , así como este dato que les cuento de la moda, es que son uno de los países en donde la moral, los valores están muy valorados y están sinceramente en otro nivel en cuanto a vida, niveles de pobreza etc. En teoría dicen que es uno de los países en donde la gente vive más feliz en todo el mundo así como en Dinamarca, pero en contraposición con esto también se dice que es uno de los países en donde hay mayor índice de suicidios.
Para cerrar estas últimas fui a dos lugares en donde me quede muy enamorado, una de ellas fue una disquería en el centro de la ciudad, pero escondida, como marginada muy pequeña y muy singular. Encontré cosas muy raras y poco usuales. Y el otro lugar es en donde las chicas me llevaron a cenar y comi una de las mejores comidas y tragos no de mi experiencia por este país, sino una de las mejores de mi vida hasta el día de hoy. El nivel de sabores no se puede creer, el equilibrio de los sabores, los aromas todo fue perfecto y creo que va a ser una noche que no voy a poder olvidar nunca.
