A couple of friends moved and with the move they gained a beautiful little terrace that they couldn't believe how nice it was. They could not believe it because it was something they found without looking for it and without hesitation they said yes, closed the number and moved in. As soon as they moved in, they invited me to visit their new house with a gathering of friends that they organized. When I saw such a beautiful space we started talking to Lu who has a gardening and landscaping business and I told her if we could do something for the kids and give them an arrangement of flowers to give them a little terrace. Lu immediately said yes.
The next day I went to Lu's nursery and we thought about the space, the colors, and what we know about the kids and we put together something very beautiful. When we had it all figured out we went to the back of the workshop and made a video call with the kids who by chance we caught them together to tell them that we had a gift for them. Both of them, full of surprise, told us that they wanted to know what it was about and we asked them if we could go to the house to see it and give it to them on the weekend and we coordinated for Saturday.
Saturday morning we arrived early in the morning with Lu and the van full of stuff! We played dumb and went inside to "give them the gift", the boys invited us to sit in the living room and gave us some mates.
Two or three minutes went by and we didn't say anything, they couldn't stand it and grabbed us and asked us: "What's the gift, what's it about?
Then we told them that we wanted to give them the decoration of the plants on the terrace and they went crazy with joy.
Then we asked them to come to the door so they could help us and they didn't understand why. We got to the truck and when we opened the door there were all the plants and the things we needed to do everything and make the terrace beautiful. They were both happy. There were pots, soil, tutors, wire, pliers, the plants clearly and a watering system that we wanted to give them to make everything easier for them too.
First we set up the structure to put the vines. Then, we made a couple of stakes and transplanted all the plants to their pots and put a lot of things like coco fiber, vermiculite, and a lot of little things to make the plants look nice. We were seeing where they looked best because of the sun and also with the kids we chose where they liked the best.
We finished it very quickly, I estimate about two hours. And after we finished there, we set up the irrigation system, which is very good, I didn't know it. And so we gave them a beautiful gift that they enjoyed very much and that they will keep for a long time. It had been a long time since I had made such an original and beautiful gift, it was really nice to surprise my friends and to surprise myself with the gift.

Una pareja de amigos se mudo y con la mudanza ganaron una terracita hermosa que no podían creer lo linda. No la podían creer porque fue algo que sin buscarlo encontraron y sin dudarlo dijeron que sí, cerraron el número y se mudaron. Ni bien se instalaron me invitaron a conocer su nueva casa con una reunión de amigos que organizaron. Cuando vi tan hermoso espacio nos pusimos hablar con Lu que tiene un emprendimiento jardinería y paisajismo y le dije si podíamos hacer algo para los chicos y regalarles un arreglo de flores para ponerle onda a la terracita de los chicos. Lu enseguida me dijo que si.
Al otro día me fui al vivero de Lu y pensamos en el espacio, los colores, y lo que conocemos de los chicos y armamos algo muy hermoso. Cuando lo tuvimos resuelto nos fuimos al fondo del taller e hicimos una videollamada con los chicos que de casualidad los agarramos juntos para contarles que teníamos un regalo para ellos. Los dos llenos de sorpresa nos dijeron que querían saber de qué se trataba y les preguntamos si el fin de semana podíamos ir para la casa a verlo y dárselos y coordinamos para el Sábado.
El sábado llegamos bien temprano a la mañana con Lu y la camioneta llena de cosas! Nos hicimos los desentendidos y entramos para "darles el regalo", los chicos nos invitan a sentarnos en el living y nos dan unos mates.
Pasaron dos o tres minutos y nosotros no decíamos nada, no se aguantaron y agarraron y nos dijeron che, ¿que onda el regalo, de que se trata?
Entonces ahí les contamos que les queriamos regalar la decoración de plantas de la terraza y se volvieron locos de contentos.
Entonces les pedimos si venían a la puerta así nos ayudaban y no entendían bien a que. Llegamos a la camioneta y cuando abrimos estaban todas las plantas y las cosas que necesitábamos para hacer todo y dejar la terraza hermosa. Estaban felices ellos dos. Así que bajamos todo, y lo llevamos a la terraza, Había macetas, tierra, tutores, alambre, tenaza, las plantas claramente y un sistema de riego que queríamos darles para hacerles todo más fácil también.
Primero armamos la estructura para poner las enredaderas. Después, armamos un par de tutores y trasplantamos todas las plantas a sus macetones y les pusimos un montón de cosas fibra de coco, vermiculita, y un montón de cositas para que las plantas se pongan lindas. Fuimos viendo donde quedaban mejor por el sol y también con los chicos elegimos donde les gustaban más.
Terminamos muy rápido de hacerlo, calculo que dos horitas. Y después de haber terminado ahí armamos el sistema de riego que es muy bueno, yo no lo conocía. Y así les hicimos un hermoso regalo que disfrutaron mucho y que les va a quedar por mucho tiempo. Hacía mucho que no hacía un regalo tan original y tan lindo la verdad fue muy lindo sorprender a los amigos y sorprenderme con el regalo yo también.
