Handstand practice

in fitnessblog •  3 months ago

I spent some time yesterday training my handstands.
I've been practicing handstands for nearly 15 years. It took quite a while to learn to balance / hold them still, and I can't always do this consistently. It usually takes a warm-up and if I'm tired some days it just doesn't happen.
I don't have a set training program to practice/train handstands but I generally will do some at least once per week.
Every day can be a bit too much on wrists.

Being in a handstand requires you to be in the moment. If you switch off for a moment the balance is gone. They're a form of meditation that way.
