Last night we went out for dinner and dancing with friends. I had my first drink after dry January! It was … okay? The radiatori, however, was heavenly. Our server was so genuinely passionate about their food that it truly elevated the dining experience. After dinner we went to a cocktail bar that feels perfect for happy hour but a bit too bright for a Saturday night. The crowd was mostly straight white women in their mid 20s to early 30s. After about 30 mins, S and I shared a look signaling our desire for some queer energy.
We ended up at Rise and as always it was a good time. There’s just something special about playing music videos through a projector on the dance floor. Your reservation and inhibition are somehow magically put on pause, and you can’t help but move with the music.
