For those who follow my post you know that I have a magnet with churches, I do not know why but they look for me and I find them without going out to look for them and curiously cause me something a strange attraction. I don't know what it is but if I see one and I am with time, I need to enter and see what happens to me that I feel that it transmits. It is important to clarify that I am not a Catholic or a believer, I am completely agnostic.
So here we are again with a new evangelistic encounter hahaha. I was in a neighborhood near my house looking for some painting materials in an art bookstore that had been recommended to me for its prices and which I had not been to before. I go out and buy everything I was looking for and when I leave I turn the corner and I find this friendly church, sorry a parish. In writing this post I discovered that there is a difference between a church and a parish. Parishes are like little churches. That is, they are strategically placed to be in smaller areas without so much deployment but being present and where people can go to a mass just like a church, but already churches have another presence another religious authority etc.

The truth is that I wanted to get into the church and see what that nice parish church had that was immersed in the middle of a chaos of cars and people walking around. Humble with light colors, between white and yellow, very catholic colors, it welcomed me with a lot of brightness and freshness. Many other times when I go there I usually feel a kind of heaviness that pushes my body down and with a kind of low energy for my taste.
On the sides as soon as I entered, two very large and close images to which one could approach and touch to ask, which I found curious because the images I went to are always high and so unreachable as giving superiority to that image.

The peace that had come in was great with the contrast of the chaos on the street. I found it refreshing and pleasant. There were a lot of people talking to this god they worship and I didn't want to be intrusive or take lots and lots of pictures or go into detail. I did not want to offend anyone by some shots because I was subtle and brief with my visit but I could perceive several things. I mentioned before that freshness and lightness, then something I noticed is that this parish to be so humble is in very good condition talking about the architecture of the place, and its facade. I discovered by looking at the signs that it has many masses, something that not all of them do, and that besides being a parish it is also a school. I discovered this by looking for more information about the place on the internet. If it has a primary and secondary school in the same block where they are located and a dining room that collaborates with the neighborhood then of course it has a lot of movement and gives a lot of work to many people.

It is full of figures all within reach of the people, it seemed to me something very good, because beyond not being tangible, I mean that the figures that are in the churches are not physical persons, they were always put in height as if they were untouchable or saints, and the saints can also be at the height of any simple mortal and should always be, as anda what they did people can go, approach and talk to her or leave a letter or a stamp or touch her and ask her something or even thank her!

Para los que siguen mi post saben que tengo un imán con las iglesias, no se explicar bien porqué pero ellas me buscan a mi y yo sin salir a buscarlas las encuentro y curiosamente me causan algo una extraña atracción. No se que es pero si veo una y estoy con tiempo, necesito entrar y ver que me pasa que siento que transmite. Ojo, es importante aclarar que no soy catolico ni creyente, soy completamente agnóstico.
Entonces estamos acá de nuevo con un nuevo encuentro evangelizador jajaja. Estaba por un barrio cerca de mi casa buscando unos materiales de pintura en una librería artística que me habían recomendado por sus precios y a la cual no había ido antes. Salgo compro todo lo que estaba buscando y cuando salgo doy vuelta en la esquina y me encuentro con esta amigable iglesia, perdón una parroquia. Escribiendo este post descubrí que hay una diferencia entre iglesia y parroquia. Las parroquias son como pequeñas iglesias. Osea, están puestas estratégicamente para estar en zonas más pequeñas sin tanto despliegue pero estando presente y en donde la gente puede ir a una misa al igual que una iglesia, pero ya las iglesias tiene otra presencia otra autoridad religiosa etc.
Lo cierto es que entre me quise meter en la iglesia y ver que tenía esa tan simpática parroquia que estaba inmersa en medio de un caos de autos y gente caminando por ahí. Humilde con colores claros, entre blanco y amarillo, colores bien catolicos me recibio con mucha luminosidad y frescura. Muchas otras veces cuando voy suelo sentir una especie de pesadez que me empuja el cuerpo hacia abajo y como con una energía un poco baja para mi gusto.
A los lados apenas entro, dos imágenes muy grandes y cercanas a las que uno se podía acercar y tocar para pedir, cosa que me pareció curiosa porque a las que fui siempre las imágenes son altas y es tan inalcanzables como dándole superioridad a esa imagen.
La paz que había entrado era genial con el contraste del caos en la calle. Me pareció refrescante y agradable. Había muchas personas hablando con ese dios que veneran y no quise ser inoportuno ni sacar muchísimas fotos ni entrar en detalle. No quería ofender a nadie por algunas tomas porque fui sutil y breve con mi visita pero pude percibir varias cosas. Ya les mencioné antes esa frescura y liviandad, después algo que note es que esta parroquia para ser tan humilde está en muy buenas condiciones hablando de la arquitectura del lugar, y de su fachada. Descubrí mirando en los carteles que tiene muchas misas cosa que no todas pasa y que además de ser parroquia son colegio. Esto lo descubrí queriendo algo más de información del lugar en internet. Si tiene un colegio primario y secundario en la misma manzana en donde están situados y un comedor que colabora con el barrio entonces claro tiene mucho movimiento y da mucho trabajo a muchas personas.
Esté lleno de figuras todas al alcance de la gente me pareció algo muy bueno, porque más allá de no ser tangibles , me refiero a que las figuras que están en las iglesias no son personas físicas, siempre se las puso en altura como si fueran intocables o santas, y los santos también pueden estar a la altura de cualquier simple mortal y deberían estarlo siempre, como anda qué fue lo que hicieron la gente puede ir, acercarse y hablarle o dejarle una carta o una estampita o tocarla y pedirle algo o incluso agradecer!
