At that moment I remembered him and how cool it was to talk to him the times I passed him, so I thought I would write him to see if I could go take some pictures of the church because it really is very beautiful. So I wrote him and he invited me for a cup of tea and then we went for a walk around the parish. He still doesn't understand the difference between parishes, churches, and chapels, although I think chapels are smaller and maybe those distinctions must be just a matter of size but don't ask him.

So yesterday I stopped by the parish and we got together for tea. We were talking about many things, he doesn't know me very well because he doesn't know me very well because he knows my brother, but one thing he has is that he is a very good listener, so we got to talking and it was like a date because we hardly knew each other and we started to talk and get to know each other, using the threads of what he knew about my family, my mother and my brother, as a conduit. We really talked about various topics and he even made me feel very listened to and even at one point we even found ourselves in the situation where he was being with a psychologist in conversation and we ended up killing each other laughing. He is a very young priest and has a very open head to new ideas that have nothing to do with priests or conventional ideas of religion, he is open to free love that today the high peaks of the church do not sponsor and do not support.

Luis, the priest after tea said to me, well I think you should say 10 Our Fathers and 3 Hail Marys, and there was a big laugh between the two of us. We talked a lot about politics and about the society we have today, it was really very interesting that time we talked, much more than the church and the pictures. I told him if it wasn't that you have your obligations it would be nice to go for a beer with friends because we will have a great time.

Luis took me everywhere and made me go from one end of the parish to the other, the truth is that he even made me go to places that even he doesn't know and he thought of them on the spot and we were able to go and take pictures of the dome like so many others, the truth is that it was a very nice experience to know and crown it with the pictures that will always be there to remember with that.

La semana pasada estaba hablando con mi madre tomando un mate en su casa y estuvimos hablando de la familia las clásicas charlas familiares, como está el tío Pedro, te acordás de Nelida la vecina esa actualización de revista familiar que muchos conocen bien estuvimos teniendo ese tipo de conversación y entre tantos temas me dice - Te acordás del colegio de tu hermano que casi se va del colegio porque estaba cansado de que lo quieran convencer de tomar la comunión y toda esa historia, Bueno después de eso el párroco habló con Fede y resultó que aunque tu hermano está alejado del catolicismo, eso ya lo sabemos, se entabló una buena relación y con el tiempo se fue construyendo y lo conocimos con tu papá y realmente es un gran tipo. Pues me lo crucé en la calle y me dijo que se va, bla bla bla.
En ese momento me acordé de él y de lo guay que fue hablar con él las veces que me lo crucé, así que pensé en escribirle para ver si podía ir a hacer unas fotos a la iglesia porque realmente es muy bonita. Así que le escribí y me invitó a tomar una taza de té y luego fuimos a dar una vuelta por la parroquia. Todavía no entiende la diferencia entre parroquias, iglesias y capillas, aunque creo que las capillas son más pequeñas y tal vez esas distinciones deben ser solo cuestión de tamaño pero no le preguntes.
Pues ayer pasé por la parroquia y nos juntamos a tomar el té. Estuvimos hablando de muchas cosas, él no me conoce mucho porque no me conoce mucho porque conoce a mi hermano, pero una cosa que tiene es que sabe escuchar muy bien, así que nos pusimos a hablar y fue como una cita porque apenas nos conocíamos y empezamos a hablar y a conocernos, utilizando como conducto los hilos de lo que él sabía de mi familia, de mi madre y de mi hermano. Realmente hablamos de varios temas e incluso me hizo sentir muy escuchada e incluso en un momento dado llegamos a encontrarnos en la situación en la que él estaba con un psicólogo en la conversación y acabamos matándonos de risa. Es un cura muy joven y tiene la cabeza muy abierta a nuevas ideas que no tienen nada que ver con los curas ni con las ideas convencionales de la religión, está abierto al amor libre que hoy en día las altas cumbres de la iglesia no patrocinan y no apoyan.
Luis, el cura después de la merienda me dijo, bueno creo que deberías rezar 10 padrenuestros y 3 avemarías, y hubo una gran carcajada entre los dos. Hablamos mucho de política y de la sociedad que tenemos hoy en día, realmente fue muy interesante ese rato que hablamos, mucho más que la iglesia y las fotos. Le dije si no fuera porque tienes tus obligaciones estaría bien ir a tomar una cerveza con los amigos porque lo pasaremos muy bien.
Luis me llevó a todos lados y me hizo ir de una punta a otra de la parroquia, la verdad es que hasta me hizo ir a lugares que ni él conoce y los pensó en el momento y pudimos ir a tomar fotos a la cúpula como tantos otros, la verdad es que fue una experiencia muy bonita de conocer y coronarla con las fotos que siempre estarán ahí para recordar con eso.
