When I visited Oxford the other week to attend events at the literary festival, I looked up a cookie seller I used to frequent many years ago whenever I visited the city. Great news, it’s still there.
As you’ll see from the photo I’ve shared here, the outlet is called Ben’s Cookies, which prompted me to think maybe I could consider that as an alternative career if I ever give up the writing (which isn’t going to happen, I might add). Perhaps I could make a bid to take over Ben’s Cookies since it’s already got the right name for me. I fear, however, that I would end up eating most of the stock, which wouldn’t be a good way to make money.
