Hi, guys!
It's hard for me to believe, but I'm halfway there. Today I looked at the character counter in my text, and it shows 225,000. I can submit a text no more than 450,000, which means that one way or another I've covered exactly half the distance.
I've already said that I want to try to write all three volumes during my studies at the courses. I understand that this is a triple amount of work, and that it will be difficult, but why not try. This should greatly increase my chances with the publisher. Now I want to try to finish the first draft in January. And it looks like I have every chance of doing it, even if I continue writing at a more relaxed pace of five pages a day, and not at a more aggressive pace of ten. Although if I maintain a pace of ten pages, then I will finish in the next two weeks, which would be really, really cool.
If I write the entire trilogy during my studies, that would be just super. Then I will be able to come to the pitching in the fall with the synopses and texts of the entire trilogy, and this will give me a much better chance of my work being accepted. So I want to try. Now I have entered an active work mode, and I think I will be able to maintain it for a long time. It does not seem that I am overloaded, at least so far I do not feel it.
Of course, it would be great if I did not have to do anything at all except writing. But I need to do at least a little sports to keep my body in working condition. Unfortunately, we cannot forget about this.
Have a great day everyone!
